Meet The Team

Chris is a globally experienced, forward-thinking leader who’s been at the forefront of the fast-evolving communications technology space since 1999.

Prior to joining Britetech, he was at the helm of an Australian remote communications technology company where he spearheaded the design and delivery of customised turnkey solutions for clients for five-and-a-half years. This followed more than a decade as a Telecommunications Systems Specialist with Australia’s Department of Defence, based in Queensland and 13 years with the British Army, where he held the role of Telecommunications Engineer until 2012.

Chris’ expertise spans radio frequency management, network design, passive and active propagation surveys, tower engineering and building, solar off-grid power solutions and mobile communications trailers. He boasts extensive knowledge of technologies including industrial WIFI, licensed PTP and unlicensed/licensed PTMP radios, two-way DMR and TETRA radios, as well as CCTV design and network integration.

He is a Certified Practising Project Practitioner and a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management.

Britetech founder Mike Maiolo launched parent company, Briteforce, in 2007.

Recognising the benefits of transforming West Australian mobile light towers from halogen to LED lights provided the initial inspiration for Briteforce. Briteforce, which boasts a 40-strong team based in Perth, Western Australia, has grown to become one the largest independent manufacturers of lighting towers in Australia.

Under Mike’s steady direction, Briteforce has been supplying exceptional mobile wireless communications trailers to remote sites across Australia for many years. In 2023, he created Britetech as a spinout company to support a greater number of clients, suppliers and partners.
